"Strengthening Social Studies in Arkansas"

This site is dedicated to Arkansas social studies educators. Members of ACSS include elementary, middle and secondary, private and public, university professors and instructors, school administrators, and non-educational professionals who recognize the importance of a strong social studies background for our young citizens.

Online submission of proposals for presentations at the 2008 ACC will not be available this year. To submit a proposal, go to the conference web site and download the Presenter Planning Form. Follow the instructions on the web site for submission.

This year there will be an absolute deadline of May 1, 2008, for proposal submission. The program matrix will be put together on May 3, 2008. Don't delay!
